Watching old TV stuff on Facebook

I discovered that Facebook has a selection of TV shows available to watch and finally got up the nerve to try it. I must say (so far) it works better than anything else I have tried on line. No ads or commercials and the shows are free. For some reason when "Firefly" was on TV I just couldnt get interested in it, but the last few years Id wanted to try again. For those not knowing, it is a futuristic space thing, sort of an out of this world western flavor. I watched the first episode (think it was 2 hours) and got all the background and character info and have watched 3-4 more now (hour episodes) and admit I am addicted. Love the variety of characters and the stories somewhat remind me of old "Gunsmoke or Wagon Train" shows. Take a look if you want. For those with different tastes, they also have "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". I intend to rewatch that too as enjoyed it when it was first on.

I have both Firefly and Buffy in DVD box sets and have enjoyed watching both. They have a low number of episodes that are rather too gruesome for me, but most are good. I'm glad that you have found them and can enjoy them.

Firefly's a very good show, pity it was so short. There's also a feature-length movie called Serenity that's worth watching.
